OTOKEIAudio Visualizer

Otokei Privacy Policy

Effective date: 11 October 2026

Otokei — Audio Visualizer is developed by Robert Blair. This policy explains how the app handles information when you listen, import audio, customise the player, use widgets or contact support.

Information kept on your device

The app stores your player preferences, customisation settings and local library information on your device. It does not require a developer-operated account.

When you import audio through My Files, the app copies selected files into its local library and stores the metadata and artwork used to display and play them. These imported files are not uploaded to a developer-operated server.

When you choose a photo for customisation, the app stores a resized copy locally. Preferences, now-playing information and artwork used by the app’s widget may be shared between the app and its widget through their local shared storage.

Device backups may include app data depending on your Apple device and backup settings. Files selected from iCloud Drive or another Files provider are also subject to that provider’s own storage and privacy practices. The app does not operate its own cloud-sync service for imported music.

Apple Music and network access

With your permission, the app uses Apple’s MusicKit services to access music-library information and Apple Music features. Catalog searches, artist information, artwork downloads and music playback can involve connections to Apple’s services or the artwork locations they provide.

Apple processes service information under its own terms and privacy practices. Apple Music playback requires an eligible service subscription, separate from Full App Unlock. You can manage Music access permission in your device’s Settings.

The four-chapter Artist experience uses Apple Music catalog information. Imported files do not receive that catalog experience; importing a file does not upload it to Apple Music to create an artist page.

Purchases

Apple processes Full App Unlock purchases and restores through the App Store. The app checks verified purchase information to determine whether premium access is available. The developer does not receive your payment-card details through the app’s purchase flow.

Advertising and tracking

The app has no advertising or third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. It does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, sell your personal information, or upload your listening history to a developer-operated analytics service.

Performance and diagnostic information

The app uses Apple’s MetricKit framework to save performance measurements and crash or hang diagnostics locally. This local archive is limited to 40 files; older archive files are removed as new files are added. The app does not automatically send these archived files to the developer.

Apple may separately make diagnostic information available through its developer services according to your device’s analytics-sharing settings and Apple’s privacy practices. This is distinct from the app’s local diagnostic archive.

Support correspondence

If you email otokeiapp@gmail.com, the developer receives your email address and the information you choose to include, such as your device model, app version, screenshots or a description of a problem. That information is used to respond to your request and resolve the issue. Email is handled by Google’s Gmail service.

Support correspondence, including attachments and sent replies, is deleted from the support mailbox within 12 months after the request is closed. You can ask for earlier deletion by emailing otokeiapp@gmail.com. Information may be kept longer where necessary to meet a legal obligation or handle an ongoing dispute; any such retention is limited to what is needed for that purpose. Google’s own service retention and backup practices are governed by its privacy policy.

Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, private music files or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

Removing information and managing permissions

You can remove imported songs using Delete from My Files. This removes the app’s imported copy and related library entry and artwork. Separate source files and copies held by a Files provider or backup are managed independently.

You can change player settings and select a different custom label in the app. Removing the app removes its app-managed local data, subject to operating-system behavior and any copies retained in backups. Backups, Apple Music information and App Store purchase records are managed through Apple’s services and settings.

For questions or requests concerning information you have sent directly to the developer, contact otokeiapp@gmail.com.

This support website

This support website uses Cloudflare Pages to deliver and protect its pages. Cloudflare processes technical connection information, which may include your IP address, requested URL and browser information. Cloudflare’s processing and retention of that information are described in its Privacy Policy.

The website has no advertising, analytics scripts or contact form. Cloudflare Web Analytics is disabled. The pages use system fonts and do not load external font services. The website code does not set cookies or store visitor information in your browser. Cloudflare may process information or use technical measures needed to operate and protect its service.

The developer does not maintain separate visitor request-log archives. Cloudflare may provide service metrics through its dashboard and retains provider-side information under its own practices. This is separate from the 12-month retention practice for support emails. Contact is by email using the address below.

Changes and contact

This policy will be updated if the app’s information practices change. The effective date above identifies the published version.
